The Creative Cohort is open to artists of all disciplines with an interest in movement. The intensive offers guidance, accountability, structure and direction for those who are ready to develop a creative project that is asking to be born.

THIS IS FOR YOU!

Commit to a dedicated creative work session once weekly for eight weeks and see what arises! We will spend time both bringing ourselves into internal reflective practices, as well as creating and sharing with new collaborators across the group. 

• Finally writing that script
• Developing a monologue for performance
• Creating choreography 
• Designing costumes, set or lighting ideas 
• Experimenting with compositional improvisation

Each week will feature an accessible group movement warm-up, generative compositional exercises and prompts, solo work time, and workshopping material with one another.

Teaching Artist Hanna Satterlee

Hanna Satterlee creates performance experiences, and conceptual artworks for stage, site, and film. Hanna holds degrees and certifications in dance therapy, psychology, performance, choreography, vinyassa/yin/restorative yoga, non-profit management, and arts integration. Hanna has been a dancer in many US companies and collaborative performance groups, and has worked internationally as an independent artist, choreographer, and movement and mindfulness teacher. Hanna launched ANIMAL Dance in 2022, a performance and production company based in Burlington.
