The Flynn, Burlington School District, and Burlington's Sustainability Academy

Burlington Trout Parade

The Flynn is partnering with Burlington’s Sustainability Academy and the Burlington School District to create the first annual Burlington Trout Parade.

Each year Sustainability Academy’s 4th grade raises trout from eggs, releasing them into the Huntington River on a day when all conditions are right. Each year the whole school gathers to celebrate the release day with puppets and processions. This year, we’re expanding the celebration into a community parade celebrating trout and the watershed where they live.
